My series Metropolis is the result of wanting to create a collage as a way to bring together some of my favourite buildings from around the world in a single artwork.
So far, I’ve completed five collages and am currently working on more.
The process is entirely physical: I take the photos, print them, cut them up, and arrange them into a deconstructed yet harmonious composition. Once I’m satisfied with the arrangement, I glue them down and scan the final piece.
My Refracted Lens series, featuring two photographs, captures a poetic interplay between architecture and people-both chaotic and cohesive. In the Liverpool Street image, I particularly love the moment of connection between two people holding hands and looking at each other—a fleeting moment of love amid the rush of a busy station.
Photos printed on fine art baryta photo rag paper then mounted on 3mm dibond with 3mm perspex
